Candere by Kalyan Jewelers has announced the launch of its annual design competition for future designers. This contest, titled “Consider,” allowed entrants to submit designs based on the concept and requirements. Along with a financial reward of Rs 1 lakh and a three-month paid internship with the company, the winning designer will have the opportunity to debut their winning designs in a collection.
Registration is now open and interested parties can apply until June 16, but the deadline for submission is June 17 to July 5. Interested candidates should apply on candere.com. Applicants should also be aware that the underlying subject of the contest is the peacock, our national bird.
Necklaces, bracelets or kadas and earrings are the three design categories available. According to the announcement, designs must adhere to the concept, address the problem statement, and be financially feasible while preserving the requested gold-to-diamond ratio.

On August 6, a one-day event will take place in Mumbai to showcase the shortlisted concepts, and entrants will present their designs to a judging panel, after which two winners will be revealed.
